Making Waves – World Premiere Film screening announcement Waveski Adventurers is pleased to announce that Making Waves: Extraordinary Women, One World Title will have its world premiere on the 8th of March 2023 to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The screening will take place at the Windsor Cinema in Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia. This documentary is a celebration of the elite sport of waveski surfing and the female athletes who compete at the top level.

The documentary follows a diverse range of women, facing their competitive challenge, notwithstanding age, background and social constraints. Filming took place in Exmouth, Western Australia, ahead of the World Waveski Surfing Titles in Ventura, California, in early November 2022.

After a 4–year hiatus due to the Covid Pandemic, the 2022 World Waveski Surfing Titles put these athletes’ skills to the ultimate test as they strive to realise their dreams. Women unite from all around the world.
