Sunshine Coast, Australia — January 24, 2025

Waveski Adventurers proudly announces the launch of the Waveski Adventurers Surf School, a premier coaching and development program designed to make waveski and kayak surfing available to everyone. With a mission rooted in inclusivity and skill development, the new surf school aims to foster a thriving waveski community by providing a safe and supportive environment for waveski surfers of all levels.

Waveski Adventurers has long been committed to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to experience the sport of waveski surfing. “Our vision has always included coaching, training, and development,” said Jackie Dillon, co-founder and world-ranked waveski champion. “With this surf school, we’re taking a significant step toward building an inclusive and vibrant waveski community.”

Operating from surf central Sunshine Coast, the school is fully equipped with a range of waveskis, from beginner-friendly Kalua Softys to cutting-edge lightweight models crafted by RD Waveskis’ Rees Duncan. The program initially focuses on one-on-one coaching, gradually expanding to small group sessions to ensure a tailored and supportive learning experience.

Over the past few years, Waveski Adventurers has explored various strategies to introduce waveski surfing to broader audiences. “There’s a renaissance happening in waveski surfing here in Australia,” said Mary-Ellen King, co-founder and creative artist. “We’re thrilled to be part of this movement, fostering growth and development in this incredible sport.”

Waveski Adventurers’ Surf School is poised to set new standards in coaching and inspire a new generation of waveski surfers to chase their dreams on the water.
